I’m a Fractional Chief Communications Officer and the founder of PURDYPR, based in Chicago. I help organizations navigate growth, complexity, and high-scrutiny moments with disciplined communications leadership and executive-level judgment.
I’ve spent more than 25 years leading corporate communications across cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise software, and renewable energy. My work spans rebrands, leadership transitions, high-stakes announcements, and long-term positioning efforts for global teams.
Most recently, I led brand and communications strategy for Amshore Renewable Energy as it repositioned itself in the market. Before that, I served as VP of Marketing & Communications at Trustwave, helping strengthen its position in managed security services ahead of its $850M acquisition by Singtel.
Earlier in my career, I held senior communications roles at Guidance Software, Forcepoint (formerly Websense), IBM, and Tivoli Systems.
Today, I partner with CEOs, founders, CMOs, and communications leaders who need senior-level judgment without adding a full-time executive—providing sharp messaging, steady counsel, and strategic guidance across reputation, positioning, and business-critical communications.
