Cas Purdy, Founder & Fractional Chief Communications Officer

I’m a Fractional Chief Communications Officer and the founder of PURDYPR, based in Chicago. I help organizations navigate growth, complexity, and high-scrutiny moments with clear, disciplined communications leadership.

I’ve spent more than 25 years leading communications, corporate messaging, and narrative strategy across cybersecurity, cloud, software, and renewable energy. My work includes rebrands, high-stakes announcements, leadership transitions, and long-term positioning efforts for global teams.

Most recently, I led brand and communications strategy for Amshore Renewable Energy as it repositioned itself in the market. Before that, I served as VP of Marketing & Communications at Trustwave, helping strengthen its position in managed security services ahead of its $850M acquisition by Singtel.

Earlier in my career, I held senior communications roles at Guidance Software, Forcepoint (formerly Websense), IBM, and Tivoli Systems.

Today, I partner with CEOs, founders, CMOs, and communications leaders who need senior-level judgment without adding a full-time executive—providing sharp messaging, steady counsel, and strategic guidance across narrative, reputation, and business-critical communications.
