1. My favorite Thai food of all time is at Amarin Thai in Hillcrest, San Diego. Try their Cashew Chicken (scallops are good too). If you like spicy. order #10 with extra sauce.
  2. Visit famous Mama Testa in Hillcrest. Check out their Web site to see how their Throw Down with Bobby Flay went down!
  3. Check out a real Russian submarine in San Diego Harbor. It’s small; watch your head!
  4. Take a 4-mile walk through Balboa Park. Take pictures; it’s beautiful.

  5. if you really want a hike, try the scary trip down cliff at Black’s Beach (and expect getting back up to be tough). Don’t forget water.
  6. Ride the old roller coaster on Mission Beach. Don’t wear a hat or you’ll lose it. Not recommended for those with bad necks… it’s rather jerky.
  7. Rent a bike for $12 on mission beach, ride down the boardwalk on Mission and Pacific Beach.
  8. For breakfast, check out Mission in North Park. Their French Toast is to die for!
